Dr. Khubaib is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine. He completed his Sports Medicine Specialty training at the John Peter Smith Sports Medicine fellowship program in Arlington, Texas.

Dr. Khubaib grew up in Pakistan and received his medical degree from CMH Lahore Medical College. He then completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Hackensack Medical Center in Montclair, New Jersey.

During his time in New Jersey and Texas, Dr. Khubaib worked with professional, college and high school sports teams and oversaw multiple sporting events. Amongst them are NJ/NY Gotham FC, Texas Christian University, and NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship Finals. He was a part of the Horned Frogs (TCU Football) Sports Medicine Team that made it to the National Championship Game in 2023.

Dr. Khubaib specializes in sports injuries, diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, and musculoskeletal injections.

Dr. Khubaib resides in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife and child. He is a table tennis and soccer enthusiast, with his favorite team being Liverpool.
