Physical Therapist Assistant

Ashley Ambo Esibe, PTA, is a Physical Therapist Assistant with a passion for hands-on patient care. She joined our team in July of 2024 and values the importance of preventative care. She provides patient education on ergonomics and body mechanics for various careers and job professions. Ashley takes pride in empathetically administering rehabilitative services to patients, by assisting the Doctors of Physical Therapy in carrying out their plans of care.

Being a Montgomery County Maryland local, Ashley’s educational journey consists of great Maryland schools. She attended Montgomery College where she received an Associate’s degree in Social Sciences with a focus in Psychology, prior to obtaining another Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting. She successfully passed her Federal State Board of Physical Therapy exam to become a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Shortly after, Ashley earned her bachelor’s of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, and a certificate in Clinical Mental Health Care.

Ashley’s Cameroonian background and multicultural upbringing have nurtured a cultural richness and an appreciation for diversity, shaping her into a cosmopolitan individual. Prior to joining our team, Ashley worked at various patient settings ranging from out-patient, subacute, to in-patient care facilities and has experience with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal pathologies within different patient populations.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys serving at her church as a Sunday school teacher for preschool children. Ashley likes to stay active with scenic walks along beautiful trails, and loves spending quality time with family and friends.
