Physician
Dr. Lasisi, MD, MSBS, is a sports medicine physician with a background in family medicine and has extensive experience evaluating musculoskeletal conditions. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at Inova after completing a Family Medicine Residency at Howard University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lasisi completed his medical degree at the University of Lagos College of Medicine and later completed a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Toledo. His clinical interests include sports-related injuries, concussion, musculoskeletal medicine, and helping patients remain active through non-surgical care.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Lasisi has contributed to sports medicine research involving youth soccer concussions, pediatric sports-related head injuries, injuries among collegiate soccer players, and managing musculoskeletal conditions. He has experience with coverage of various sports, including collegiate football, wrestling, soccer and lacrosse. He has covered various high school sports, as well as provided triathlon coverage.
He also volunteered at numerous community athletic events, Special Olympics DC MedFest, Reston Sprint Triathlon and Sports physicals.
